Assistant Project Manager, Packaging.

This role will report directly to the Group Creative Director Packaging & Brand DNA and is a key member of the Innovation team and is a

hybrid role based in Stamford, CT.

Responsibilities are outlined below. These responsibilities are representative of the key areas of focus but are not limited to the items listed below.The person in this role is a self-motivated, and detail-oriented team player who works seamlessly within our Innovation team and with cross-functional partners. This candidate should be passionate about project management and is accustomed to a fast-paced creative environment. This position manages the creative development of a wide range of primary and secondary packaging solutions that meet the needs for brand aesthetics, consumer use, manufacturing capability, quality, and cost. This role supports the ideation, development, feasibility, and implementation of all packaging components and processes including new to world package design projects, renovation projects and prototype development. Projects will typically be run with the Group Creative Director and an Innovation Manager, Brand Manager or Supply Chain Project Manager business partner. There will be some projects which the Assistant Project Manager, Packaging will manage in tandem with the Supply Chain Project Manager, without the participation of the Group Creative Director, Innovation Manager or Brand Manager.The ideal candidate is innovative, flexible and highly skilled at managing multiple tasks simultaneously. They thrive in a fast-paced environment and have an interest in creative collaboration between multidisciplinary teams. They can seamlessly navigate through a range of high priority projects daily while managing tight deadlines for longer length projects.Responsibilities:

Support the Innovation Team, Brand Team, and Operations Team in project management of package creation, commercialization and optimization initiatives.Project Manage in-house design team and create project timelines and schedules to ensure daily projects stay within their timelines.Experience successfully managing projects from creative development through production completion with multi-year timelines and multiple phases of deliverables.Management of Workfront software including admin responsibilities, project requests, setting up projects in the system, and overall management of active projects and proofs within system.Creation and ownership of PM portions of creative presentations.Schedule and coordinate meetings, including appropriate stakeholders, and provide accurate agendas and precise, actionable meeting recap notes.Create and manage strong business partnering relationships and act as key collaborator and coordinator with outside vendors, internal clients, and creative team.Manage external vendors in print and photography including timelines, scheduling, deliverable dates, project quotes and invoicing.Escalate potential problems, recommend, and help implement solutions to address issues and improve processes.Attendance of weekly status meetings for priority brands.Proficient at resolving issues and removing roadblocks, contributing ideas in service of creating a high-quality output.Review and approve each round of artwork submitted by creative team, ensuring all artwork is correct and all feedback/direction executed.Ability to present and clearly articulate ideas, works efficiently under pressure with careful attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.Coordinate and lead post-mortem process at project completion. Applies learnings and optimizations to future projects.Critical Skills:

Self-motivated and self-disciplined individual, able to work in relative autonomy.Highly skilled at prioritization and handling diverse responsibilities concurrently.Ability to manage multiple long-term (24 months from brief to delivery) and quick turn projects simultaneously.Proactive, solution oriented and problem-solving mindset.Excellent communication and organizational skills to manage the documentation, materials, and information to be able to deal effectively with all levels of the organization and external partners.Proficiency in project management software such as Workfront, Basecamp, Smartsheet or comparable software.Effective cross-functional business partner and natural collaborator.Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field.Project Management experience (ideally 3-4 years of relevant work experience in a client-facing capacity), with established track record including experience working autonomously.Familiar with agency briefing process with the ability to quickly analyze and critique submitted briefs/requests, and the ability to adjust relevant information needed for the project, as needed.Excellent business writing and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting information both written and verbally.Proficient in Microsoft Suite (particularly Excel & PowerPoint).A proactive problem-solving mindset and a collaborative, diplomatic & customer-service-oriented approach are important.Working knowledge of packaging production processes and techniques is a plus.Demonstrates broad and in-depth knowledge of packaging materials and processes is a plus.Packaging experience in CGI or Bev/Alc is a plus.Working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite (particularly Photoshop & Illustrator) is a plus.What We Offer:
