Northrop Grumman is seeking a motivated Cybersecurity Analyst in the BWI area ready to gain and apply enterprise-wide experience to ensure the security, reliability, and availability of multiple systems/platforms in support of our Nation's defense.

Roles and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Performing assessments of systems and networks within the networking environment or enclave.

Identifying where systems and networks deviate from acceptable configurations, enclave policy, or local policy.

Performing passive evaluations such as compliance audits and active evaluations such as vulnerability assessments.

Enforcing strict program control processes to ensure mitigation of risks and supporting certification and accreditation of systems.

Supporting security certification tests, security documentation, software research, hardware introduction and release, emerging technology research inspections and periodic audits.

Assisting in the implementation of the required government RMF policy (i.e. DAAPM).

Making recommendations on process tailoring and participating in document process activities.

Performing analyses to validate established security controls and to recommend additional security requirements and safeguards.

Supporting the formal Security Test and Evaluation (ST&E) required by each government accrediting authority through pre-test preparations, participation in the tests, analysis of the results and preparation of required reports.

Assisting in completing all associated Assessment and Authorization activities, which includes all RMF Body Of Evidence (BOE) documentation.

Supporting program and operation requirements that include markings, tool/form usage, External Information System (EIS) approval packages, software media handling, tracking hardware approvals, supporting sanitization procedures.

Works under general supervision.

Contributes to the completion of milestones associated with specific projects.

Basic Qualifications:

DoD Secret clearance.

Master’s degree with 0 years of experience; OR a Bachelor's degree with 2 years of experience; OR an Associate’s degree with 4 years of experience; OR a High School Diploma/GED with 6 years of experience is required.

IAM Level I certification

(ex. Security+ CE) or greater.

Ability to be cleared to special access programs.

Preferred Qualifications:

DoD Top Secret clearance.

IAM Level II certification (ex. CAP, CASP+ CE, CISSP (or Associate), CISM or GSLC).

Familiarity with Windows and Linux operation systems.

Knowledge of DISA STIGS, DISA Benchmarks, STIG Viewer, and SCAP Compliance Checker.

Knowledge of Risk Management Framework (RMF) requirements and related risk management processes.

Knowledge of vulnerability scanning tools to identify, assess, and manage vulnerabilities.

Knowledge of audit reduction tools (e.g., SIEM, Splunk Enterprise).

Salary Range:

$83,300 - $124,900

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
