Remote opportunity; must be based in DC Metro Area to attend on-property and client meetings.

We are looking for an experienced individual who knows the D.C. Metro market especially the luxury market and who can recognize opportunities to close on BTS sales contracts. 3-5 years of Business Travel Sales Experience in a hotel environmentLuxury experienceResponsible for tradeshows, conferences and client meetings to represent the region's hotelsExtremely organized, have keen follow through with established accounts and experience soliciting new businessHighly Preferred:

Cluster/Multi Property experienceExperience with Travel Click Agency360 and Demand360What Will I Be Doing?

Increase qualified BTS sales volume by developing key relationships with new BTS accounts, and growing production with assigned existing accounts across the group of hotels represented.Essential Functions

Develop new BTS accounts via research and connections excluding key national accounts.Negotiate and execute contracts for Volume AccountsQualify prospects for the hotel and eventually all complexed group of hotelsPrepare and present proposals and/or contracts to prospective customersDevelop and execute on-site and field presentations to prospective clients and creating that WOW factorEngage in outside sales activities to discuss business opportunities and entertain customers and have a strategic outlook on how to close a contract. Develop client relationships in the area and work on key untapped resources.Participate in industry related organizations and the local community to develop businessAttend departmental meetings and other scheduled meetings to support businessAbility to analyze STR report, Travel Click Agency 360, data and use to create action plans to capture all corporate clientele.Supportive Functions
