As a Manager, Decision Science, you will work closely with the Partnerships and Marketing leadership to solve complex business problems directly related to the growth and success of ZipRecruiter’s network of users, both job seekers and employers.Close collaboration with these stakeholders will be key to your success. You will transform insights into decisive actions and go-to-market strategies. In addition to your work across stakeholders, you will lead and develop a team of Decision Scientists to execute rigorous analyses with a bias for action. You will work closely with your partners and your reports to design, execute, and analyze experiments. You’ll inspire your team and advance the Decision Science discipline.Key Focuses:Serve as a trusted decision science and analytics partner to the Partnerships and Marketing teamsDefine and champion initiatives that directly impact go-to-market strategy and performanceLead the design, execution, and analysis of experimentsDrive performance marketing decisions and priorities using analytical frameworks and a data-first approachMobilize stakeholders from multiple teams to execute on strategic and operational insightsInspire, mentor, and grow decision scientists on your team and beyondMinimum Qualifications:BS/BA in Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, Economics, related technical field or equivalent professional experience6+ years of professional experience in decision science, business analytics, data science, software engineering, or related field2+ years of experience with hiring, training and managing team membersStrong working knowledge of statistics, and experience with statistical programming in R or PythonStrong SQL knowledgePreferred Qualifications:MS/MA in Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, Economics, related technical field or equivalent professional experience4+ years of leadership experienceExperience working with go-to-market, performance marketing initiatives, business developmentProficient in statistical software (R, Python), SQL, and data visualization toolsThe US base salary range for this full-time position is $142,500-$222,500. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location, and the range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations.
