supporting our portfolio of federal projects throughout the continental US (CONUS).This role will be a hybrid position based out of any of the following office locations:Wisconsin:

Madison, Milwaukee, or Green BayFlorida:

San AntonioKey Responsibilities:Support project managers in the planning and scheduling of field programs.Work with teams in the field as the field team lead and/or Site Safety and Health Officer (SSHO):

Support procurement and subcontracting of investigation/remediation subcontractors and analytical laboratories.Support the development of the Quality Assurance Project Plan (QAPP).Develop the Health and Safety Plan (HASP) and Activity Hazard Analysis (AHA).Serve in the SSHO role complying with all safety-related requirements.Be the field point of contact to the Project Manager, and while onsite, the client.Provide daily field reports and field communications as required under the Project Management Plan (PMP).QA/QC the sampling process, sample handling/management, and documentation to the analytical laboratory following the QAPP requirements.

Provide post-field support to the project team, through data management and geologic/hydrogeologic interpretation (graphs/charts, tables/figures), in the development of the Conceptual Site Model (CSM).Support development of project and proposal documents. Support the PM in preparation for client meetings and regulatory communications.Frequent travel with up to 70% of the time being in the field supporting projects at federal facilities.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in geology, environmental science, or engineering8-10 years of SSHO experienceExperience with a range of field conditions using a variety of investigation and sampling approaches (CPT, DPT, HSA, mud/air rotary drilling and well installation, groundwater, soil vapor, soil, and surface water sampling).OSHA 30-hour trainingOSHA 10-hour Construction Training5 years of continuous safety experience in supervising safety programs, hazard analyses, and developing controlsDemonstrated compliance with annual continuing education requirements per EM385-1-1High standards of personal and professional integrity and work ethic.Ability to exhibit a high degree of judgment in matters of safety and safety compliance.Must be able to work independently and multi-task with attention to detail.Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate (written and verbal) with team members and key stakeholders.Preferred Qualifications:Professional registration (PG or ability to secure PG within 2 years)DoD experience preferredProficiency with other software that supports development of the Conceptual Site Model (CSM) is a plus.Compensation Range:$75,000 - $95,000 (flexible/dependent on location and experience)About Us:The Oneida ESC Group
