Position Summary:
Nuclear Medicine Technologist will perform nuclear medicine procedures; will work under the supervision of the modality supervisory technologist and modality medical director. Technologist will:Perform all technical procedures within the respective modality sections as described in the Radiology Policy Manual.Meet the technical competency requirements for the position.Maintain an effective working relationship with all staff.Participate in professional education programs, patient/staff safety initiatives, and quality assurance/improvement activities.Minimum Requirements:
Education:
Documented training and experience in Nuclear Medicine.Experience:
Documented training and experience in Nuclear Medicine.Certification/Licensure:
Current BLS certification; ARRT registered certification in Nuclear Medicine with RT(N) designation and/or current NMTCB registered certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology with CNMT designation; Current Massachusetts DPH Radiologic Technologist Nuclear Medicine license; SPECT-CT endorsement if performing SPECT-CT; and/or current Massachusetts DPH Radiologic Technologist Radiography (Full/General) license.Software/Hardware:
Imaging acquisition, processing, reviewing, sending, and retrieving equipment (hardware and software); Hospital information system equipment (hardware and software); Communication equipment (e.g., fax, telephone, email, etc.).
