is a leading provider of capital equipment solutions for the pharmaceutical packaging industry. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced National Sales Manager to lead our capital equipment sales team.Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a national sales team, providing guidance, coaching, and support to achieve sales targets.Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients and prospects within the pharmaceutical packaging equipment industry.Identify and cultivate sales opportunities both domestically and internationally, with a focus on expanding revenue.Utilize a CRM system, including proficiency in Salesforce, to analyze data, track sales activities, and execute effective sales strategies.Train, develop, evaluate, and supervise sales associates and representatives to ensure consistent performance and growth.Effectively communicate and sell ideas, concepts, and programs both internally and externally.Implement consultative, solution-based selling techniques to address client needs and provide tailored solutions.Prospect and develop new accounts while nurturing existing client relationships to secure additional projects and upsell opportunities.Set product/project scope parameters, establish pricing policies, and negotiate contracts to drive profitability.Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree (BA or BS) in Sales, Business, or a related field.Proven track record in leading sales efforts of capital equipment, both through internal and agent networks.Experience in the pharmaceutical packaging equipment industry is highly preferred.Minimum of 8 years of experience in building and leading a national sales team.Experience in developing sales channels and generating revenue outside North America is a significant plus.Exceptional communication and organizational skills with a demonstrated history of maintaining strong customer relationships.Proficiency in utilizing a CRM system to analyze and execute on data; familiarity with Salesforce is an asset.Proven ability to train, develop, evaluate, and supervise sales associates and representatives.Demonstrated ability to effectively sell ideas, concepts, and programs both internally and externally.Proficiency in consultative, solution-based selling.Track record of successfully prospecting and developing new accounts while also maintaining and renewing existing accounts.Ability to translate client needs into concrete solutions.Experience in setting product/project scope parameters, establishing pricing policies, and negotiating contracts.Willingness to travel nationally at least 40-50% of the time and occasionally on an international basis.What’s in it for you?
