The Pathologists' Assistant is under general supervision of a pathologist, independently performs or assists in accession, dissection, evisceration, description, autopsy, and histologic sampling of a full range of surgical specimens. Assists faculty in the supervision and training of entry-level resident physicians and fellows in pathology. Performs other duties as needed.
Qualifications:Master's degree from a NAACLS accredited Pathologists' Assistant program required.Minimum one year experience in related field required.Pathologists' Assistant certification from the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) required.Loma Linda University prohibits sex discrimination in any education program or activity that it operates.
