The Planner II position is responsible for the planning and execution of customer order scheduling at Rexnord's Aerospace Division. The primary focus is to align order requirements with operational resources through scheduling and inventory allocation procedures such that customer requirements are met in the most timely and economical manner. This position is responsible for the overall planning and consumption of inventory as it relates to the production plan. Generates and maintains status reports and provides information as needed to support the cross-functional team and meet On-Time-Delivery to Rexnord customers.Responsibilities

Plan, Schedule and Release production orders in order to maximize on-time delivery to customers while minimizing inventory and operational costs.Systematically analyze on-time performance (production and shipping) and inventory levels, derive root causes for deviations to standard, and drive corrective measures cross-functionally to achieve standard.Define inventory planning and control parameters in order to maximize on-time delivery and minimize inventory.Review inventory levels and take action to reduce unnecessary inventory.Review sales order status and provide feedback concerning planned recovery date, sales order risks/opportunities, and root cause corrective actions.Leadership Competencies

Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business or a Technical field.Minimum 3 years of demonstrated planning experience in an MRP system required.Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel.Detail oriented and data driven.Demonstrated problem-solving skills using lean methodologies.Demonstrated ERP system experience required.Prefer Inventory management experience.APICS certification is a plus.Total Rewards and Benefits
