Scrubs for surgical procedures and performs other duties as assigned by the RN.Education

Required:

High School diploma or equivalent and Graduate from an accepted course in Surgical Technology certification.Work Experience

Required:

One year experience in a similar medical setting. Basic analytical experience.Certifications

Required:

Certification in Surgical TechnologyBasic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart AssociationKnowledge Skills and Abilities (KSAs)

Performs direct patient care duties, including assisting physicians during proceduresAssists in the day-to-day operations of the departmentMaintains required clinical knowledge, technical skills, equipment, training and credentials.Adapts to change in a positive constructive mannerEnsures cleanliness and disinfection of endoscopes while maintaining quality control measuresOther related duties as required.
