Java Engineer

Soni Resources' client is seeking a talented Java Engineer to contribute to the development of their software solutions for global tier-one financial clients. As a key member of the data development team, you will collaborate with colleagues across continents to design, build, and maintain robust applications that address the complex challenges of the financial markets.

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain high-quality Java-based applicationsCollaborate with global teams to understand and implement business requirementsWrite clean, efficient, and well-tested codeParticipate in all phases of the software development lifecycleTroubleshoot and resolve technical issuesStay up-to-date with the latest Java technologies and industry trendsRequirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field3+ years of experience in Java-based application development3+ years of experience with SQL databases and integration (e.g., PostgreSQL)3+ years of experience with automated testing frameworks (e.g., JUnit, JMockit)2+ years of experience with CD/CI processes and tools (e.g., Git, Jenkins, Artifactory)2+ years of experience with Linux operating systems2+ years of experience with a scripting language (e.g., Python)Strong problem-solving and analytical skillsExcellent communication and teamwork abilitiesAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlinesAdaptability to a fast-paced, dynamic environmentCompensation:

$135,000 a yearSalary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
