Our client takes pride in serving a population of over 200,000 people, presenting a rich cultural heritage and fostering a wide array of booming industries, which contribute to a thriving and dynamic community.What You Will Be DoingCreate, develop, and sustain web applications and APIs utilizing Python, Django, PHP, and other pertinent technologies.Work with frontend developers to implement user interfaces and ensure seamless integration of frontend and backend components.Produce clean, efficient, and well-documented code, adhering to best practices and coding standards.Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and code reviews to ensure software quality and maintainability.Enhance application performance and scalability by identifying and resolving bottlenecks and performance issues.Apply security best practices to safeguard against common web application vulnerabilities like SQL injection, cross-site scripting (XSS), and cross-site request forgery (CSRF).Integrate third-party services and APIs to improve application functionality and user experience.Diagnose and resolve issues reported by users, ensuring timely fixes and high customer satisfaction.Keep abreast of the latest trends and developments in web technologies, sharing knowledge and insights with the team.Contribute to the ongoing improvement of development processes and practices by suggesting and implementing enhancements to streamline workflows and boost productivity.What You Will NeedAt least 5 years of experience as a Full Stack Developer, specializing in Python, Django, and PHP.A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, or a related field from an accredited institution.Expertise in backend development with Python and Django, including building RESTful APIs and web services.Thorough understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and design patterns.Advanced proficiency in PHP development, with experience in frameworks like Laravel or Symfony.Knowledge of database systems such as MS SQL Server, MySQL, including database design and optimization.Experience in unit testing.Strong documentation abilities.Exceptional problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail, capable of analyzing complex technical issues and proposing effective solutions.Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, effective in team environments and collaborating with diverse stakeholders.Nice to HaveExperience in local government or public sector, particularly in public safety (police and fire).Proficient in frontend technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern JavaScript frameworks/libraries (e.g., React, Vue.js).Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows (e.g., GitFlow).Why UsBenefits and Perks:Competitive Salary: $111,000 - $148,000 per Year.Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis now and in the future.
