Job Description Lead our emergency medicine (EM) team at a new, state of the art hybrid freestanding emergency medicine and urgent care! TeamHealth invites you to be our medical director of this new team in a new building in beautiful Bremerton, Washington! TeamHealth is partnering with Virginia Mason Franciscan Health to bring this new facility to Bremerton. Our facility will be open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. You will have access to lab equipment and a radiology suite, complete with x-ray and CT scanners. As our medical director, you will oversee five full-time physicians and work approximately 8-10 clinical shifts per month. You will also receive a monthly medical director stipend. Experience working within and supervising within a freestanding ED is preferred but not required. All applicants must be board certified or board eligible in emergency medicine. Shifts are 12 hours each and you will document with Epic. The new facility is set to open January 1, 2025. This position can be an employee or independent contractor. Competitive compensation with an estimated pay rate minimum of $260/hour to maximum of $275/hour.
