Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems (NGAS) is seeking an
Integrated Program Team (IPT) F-35 Program Director
for
Palmdale, California.
The position will focus on assembly.
The F-35 IPT Director is responsible for all phases of programs from inception through completion. This position is based in Palmdale CA and responsible for the cost, schedule, and technical performance of company programs or subsystems of major programs. Responsibilities include:
Participating in the negotiation of contract and contract changes.
Coordinating the preparation of proposals, business plans, proposal work statements and specifications, operating budgets and financial terms/conditions of contract.
Acting as primary customer contact for program activities, leading program review sessions with customers to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance.
Establishing design concepts, criteria and engineering efforts for product research, development, integration and testing.
Developing new business or expanding the product line with the customer.
Establishing milestones and monitoring adherence to master plans and schedules, identifying program problems and obtaining solutions.
Directing the work of employees assigned to the program from technical, manufacturing and administrative areas.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree and
12+
years, or Master’s and
10+
years’ experience supporting U.S. Government contracts and customers and/or aerospace manufacturing / project management in other industries.
3+
years of experience leading the performance of tasks on schedule, at cost and achieving all requirements as either project lead, integrated program team or cost account manager.
Must have Manufacturing Leadership experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Demonstrated success leading teams and/or organizations to achieve a common goal.
Excellent communication skills.
Salary Range:
$204,100 - $306,100
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills, and current market conditions.
