It is a seasonal, high volume ski and snowboard rental facility during winter, and an outdoor retail store during the summer. It is the busiest rental-retail store in Lake Tahoe. The assistant store manager position requires the leadership ability to manage a winter staff of up to 60 employees. The assistant store manager is responsible for every aspect of store operations, employee performance and epic guest service.Job Specifications:Location: Heavenly Sports California Main LodgeExpected Pay Range: The budgeted range starts at $25.00 - $27.48. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.Shift & Schedule Availability: Full Time, Winter SeasonalSkill Level: AdvancedJob Responsibilities:Recruit, hire, train, coach and support a high performing teamBe energetic, motivated, and possess the ability to multi-taskRole model and administer company policies, guidelines and valuesProvide epic service to all guestsMaintain and improve store efficiency and contributionManage inventory control and meet or exceed inventory goalsEnforce company loss prevention policies and proceduresMaintain all company paperwork according to policies and standardsCommunicate ideas or issues with Store and Regional ManagersManage operational budgets and payrollRemain current on new industry products and trends, and demonstrate knowledge of productsJob Qualifications:A minimum of 3 years of retail sales experience - preferredA minimum of 1 year of ski / snowboard retail experience - requiredHigh school diploma or equivalent - requiredProficient in Microsoft Office applications - requiredAbility to communicate frequently with co-workers and guests in accurate spoken and written English - requiredExcellent communications skills both written and verbalSelf-motivated with the ability to multi-taskFamiliarity with rental and retail POS system - preferredMust be a team player and be able to handle fast paced stressful environmentPossess the desire to offer the highest customer service standards to guestsThe expected pay range is $25.00 - $27.48.
