Our Youth to the People brand is looking for an interdisciplinary Designer who is well versed in brand storytelling across both digital and physical mediums. The ideal candidate is a conceptually-driven, strategic thinker who can deliver creative solutions, is obsessed with design patterns and typography, and is dialed into current cultural trends. They understand the necessary marriage of brand creative and design that optimizes for conversion, yet seek solutions that break the existing molds. He/she/they will actively participate in ideation sessions to generate innovative ideas, from concept to final production, for key creative across the brand ecosystem. They should also have an understanding of printed materials and production techniques—including packaging, publication, mailers, in-store displays, and experiential design. The Designer will partner closely with the creative team as well as cross-functional stakeholders to produce the best-quality creative that continues to elevate and evolve the Youth To The People brand.

Responsibilities:Partner closely with the creative team to develop design systems, understanding the value of design patterns and helping to build and maintain a cohesive visual language.Drive concept and execution of both print and digital creative around new product launches, brand initiatives, partner collaborations, web, social media channels, in-store displays, and experiential for the brand to support product, marketing, and business objectives.Work collaboratively with the creative team and cross-functional stakeholders to execute on innovative, integrated solutions—actively participate in ideation and working sessions.Work from concept to completion on all visual touchpoints of new product launch campaigns.Keep a close eye on the full project process and ensure quality and consistency of deliverables.Maintain deadlines, deliveries, and communication to internal and external partners.

Qualities + Qualifications:4-6 years experience in graphic design and related fields, but really it’s all about the work.Strong design sense and ability to carry out a vision.A love for establishing and evolving design systems.Exceptional eye for detail and trained in typography and layout.Ability to generate and pitch in design concepts and strategies.Comfortable working across many different platforms while building consistency (i.e. digital, web, motion, branding, art direction, and experiential).Working knowledge and understanding of print.3D/Motion expertise a plus.Collaborative yet generative working style.Generalist full of curiosity, self-motivated, team player mentality.Strong organizational and time management skills; able to handle multiple priorities.Ability to be flexible and agile with constant changes and time restraints—proven aptitude for quick, creative, and adaptive thinking.Experience working in smaller teams is a plus.

Salary Range:
