Senior Account Executive
to join the new revenue team at our fast-growing media company. The Senior Account Executive will develop and cultivate leads and relationships across the entire Houston area, establishing City Cast's podcasts and newsletters as an essential buy for clients. The ideal candidate lives in or around Houston, has a proven record of sales success, experience in and a love of podcast/audio, and the motivation to exceed revenue goals. Plus, you're a good human being. You must reside in the Houston metro area - this is NOT a remote position.

Responsibilities
Persuasively articulate City Cast's media offerings and competitive advantages to clients and prospects across the Houston area via in-person and Zoom sales calls.Establish a network of C-Suite, senior-level media and client relationships in the market.Craft digital and audio programs that suit the marketing needs of the client.Maintain effective revenue-generating relationships with clients and media agencies and provide the highest level of sales and marketing consulting services.Meet monthly revenue goals as outlined in the sales plan.Maintain the CRM database.Collaborate with City Cast colleagues in other departments and cities.
Preferred Qualifications
A proven track record of sales success with a high close ratio in a performance-driven culture.Previous media sales experience is a plus.Podcast/Audio experience is a plus.Outstanding negotiation and communication skills, both verbal and written.A motivated team player who consistently strives to exceed goals and push revenue expectations.Ability to hit the ground running with a strong book of running business and relationships.A Bachelor's degree is preferred.Be a genuinely nice person who is fun to work with.
Required
5+ years of sales experience.You must reside in the Houston metro area - this is NOT a remote position.
Salary Range: $80-$90K base salary based on experience, plus commission and generous benefits.
The Senior Account Executive will report to the CRO of City Cast. This position is full-time, with excellent benefits. The base salary is competitive, depending on experience, with a generous commission structure.
