Requirements:
GA License
2 years’ Experience
Cardiac, Vascular, Thoracic with the ability to scrub are all hard requirements
BLS
ACLS
Heart Transplant is highly preferred
Other Details:
Unit Systems: Pyxis EPIC, SBAR
Unit accepts first time travelers
Will take local candidates
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:
2 years – Unit accepts first time travelers
PATIENT POPULATION:
Adults to Geriatrics – CVOR
REQUIRED SKILLS:
ACLS, BCLS, Cardiac, Vascular, Thoracic with the ability to scrub are all hard requirements. Heart Transplant is highly preferred.
SCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS:
BLOCK or SELF SCHEDULING – not available
WEEKENDS:
Rotation
CALL REQUIREMENTS:
Yes/variable – Typically one week day/call every week and one weekend every 5-6 weeks
HOLIDAYS:
If one major holiday falls in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both of the holidays. If three major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays.
