Cook Children's is looking for you to join us as our Director of System Credentialing and Medical Staff. You will be responsible for the overall leadership and communication of professional activities for Cook Children’s Medical Center's Fort Worth and Prosper medical staff organizations, as well as the credentialing of Medical Centers, Network and Health Plan providers. Your responsibilities include:CredentialingBylawsRules and Regulations of the professionalThe Joint Commission, CMS, NCQA and other regulatory agency compliance relative to medical staff standards.Education & Experience:Five years of experience in Medical Staff Services and CredentialingBachelor’s degree preferred; significant experience may be considered in lieu of degreePrevious supervisory experience requiredExpertise in computerized credentialing software packagesExcellent oral and written communication skillsProven ability in physician relationsCertification/Licensure:
One of the following required:Certification as a Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS)Certified Professional Medical Staff Services Management (CPMSM) (preferred)About Us:
