Co-founded by four U.S. Women’s National Team legends—Brandi Chastain, Aly Wagner, Danielle Slaton, and Leslie Osborne—in partnership with global investment firm Sixth Street, Bay FC is changing the face of women’s soccer as we know it. Position SummaryBay FC is seeking a

Director, Partnership Development

to join our team. The ideal candidate is a strong people leader, a focused project manager, and brings a wealth of sports partnership experience to the team. The Director, Partnership Development will be responsible for the oversight of all Partnership execution in addition to recruiting, training, developing, and mentoring a team at BFC. This full-time position reports to the SVP, Revenue.

Responsibilities

Oversee Bay FC’s largest 1-2 corporate partnership(s) to ensure top-level strategy, account management, and execution.

Manage a team of Partnership Development Managers who will oversee the balance of the partnership portfolio.

Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders of current partners and cultivate brand and agency relationships with future Bay FC corporate partners.

Ensure asset delivery for all Bay FC corporate partners.

Alongside the VP, Partnership Sales and SVP, Revenue, assist in the development and closing of new corporate partnerships, including pitches, decks, and asset creation.

Create and execute policies and procedures for Partnership Development team, including best practices, recaps, and hosting client events.

Bring a keen attention to detail for Partnership asset and deal approval, inventory management and execution, and contract negotiation.

Monitor, manage, and evaluate staff performance on an ongoing basis; establish and communicate clear goals and provide staff with appropriate feedback and direction for development.

Be a key member of the Revenue Leadership team and help drive industry best practices across the organization and with partners.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

Minimum of 6+ years of successful corporate partnership activation experience with high proficiency in social media, in-venue, community, player, broadcast, special events, and non-traditional assets

Outstanding written and verbal communication skills to develop strong working relationships with Partners, employees, teammates, and other stakeholders

Ability to manage a high level of detail across multiple projects and to prioritize efficiently

High emotional intelligence, intellectual curiosity and desire to grow professionally

Ability to prioritize and meet competing deadlines independently

Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, while remaining organized, efficient and calm under pressure

Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment

Skilled in analyzing data, developing concise recommendations and presenting to leadership

CompensationThe anticipated salary range for this role is between $130,000-$135,000, actual starting pay may vary based on a range of factors which can include experience, skills, and scope.
