Analyze financial reports and accruals to ensure completeness and accuracy. Identify issues or inefficiencies and recommend solutions. Position reports to the Accounting Manager.ResponsibilitiesAssist with documentation of Standard Operating Procedures. Ensure that all processes are in line with the existing SOPs. 5%Assist with external audit requests ensuring timely completion of quarterly and year-end audits. 5%Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes. 15%Participate in or manage accounting/finance related projects as assigned. Work on identifying efficiency and risk opportunities to be implemented on a short and long-term basis. 5%Perform reconciliations of general ledger accounts including researching and proposing journal entries to correct identified reconciling items and explaining variances between one period to the next. Correlation between income and balance sheet is required as a part of the reconciliation process. 40%Prepare journal entries accompanied by appropriate supporting documentation to record periodic activity in the GL for assigned entities. 20%Work closely with the Manager in reviewing and identifying ways to increase efficiency or improve processes on a continuous basis. 10%EducationRequired: Bachelor; Finance or AccountingLanguageRequired: EnglishExperienceRequired: 1-3 years Accounting experience including month end / year end close. Proficiency with MS Office (Excel). Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal skills; Strong attention to detail and organizational skills; Ability to multi-task, Motivated, self-starter, team player.Preferred: Corporate accounting experience.
