Not ApplicablePosition SummaryThe Associate Director for Admissions Operations reports to the Executive Director of Admissions, Outreach, and Orientation and supervises the undergraduate application and admissions processing team. They are responsible for administering undergraduate admissions processing, compliance with Title 5, processes and procedures related to admissions appeals, and data reporting.The Associate Director participates in strategic decision-making and oversees several critical operations (e.g. Cal State Apply, Veteran admissions). They manage one of four primary areas that make up the Office of Admissions & Outreach and Orientation. They represent the office on local and state-wide committees and serve as the point person for Admissions & Outreach and Orientation when the Executive Director is unavailable.The Associate Director is responsible for planning, directing, and evaluating the Student Admissions Module systems to support a comprehensive annual plan that aligns with the University Strategic plan and Enrollment Initiatives. They provide technical leadership for the variety of systems which support Student Admission Records including PeopleSoft, Student Success Planner software, CRM, communications solutions, Smartsheets, and OnBase as well as the numerous integrations with other CSU, State, and campus systems.The Associate Director oversees the technical processes for the Student Admissions module, which includes the following activities: activating admissions cycles for each semester, maintaining student groups, assigning appropriate student checklists, overseeing the student admissions cycle, and other critical admissions processes. They organize all data required for data requests including federal and state mandated audits.The Associate Director cultivates effective partnerships with key on-campus and off-campus units (e.g. Information Resource Technology, Office of the University Registrar, Financial Aid, Bursar’s Office, Academic Advising, Academic Affairs, Federal and State contacts, and the CSU Chancellor’s Office) in support of strategic goals. Through continued close collaboration with campus partners, the Associate Director will facilitate discussions, listen to issues and ideas brought forward, and analyze required components necessary to establish support across campus.The Associate Director is jointly responsible for the daily management of Admissions & Outreach and Orientation, providing staff training, feedback, direction, prioritization, performance reviews, discipline, and other related management duties. They conduct department budget reviews and recommendations, manage Admissions operations, and supervise Admissions staff members.The Associate Director is responsible for planning, directing, and evaluating the systems and project support for student success related systems and centralized services in support of the University strategic plan. They provide project management and operational leadership for the variety of Admissions processes.FLSA:

Exempt (Not Eligible for Overtime)Anticipated Hiring Range:

$5,830 per month - $7,920 per monthCSU Classification Salary Range:

$3,938 per month - $11,703 per monthWork Hours:

Monday through Friday, 8AM through 5PM (Hours may vary depending on department needs).
