Hygreen Energy As a Director of Sales, you’ll represent the front line of our business development and sales efforts and close deals with new clients in the USA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for researching, developing and implementing sales strategies, acquiring new business, and delivering on aggressive sales and revenue targets within the region. We want to ensure that our clients LOVE working with us and that we exceed their expectations in every interaction and this starts with you. This role reports directly to the Managing Director, North America. Responsibilities Analyze market, regulatory and technology trends affecting our verticals to create a sales plan and make recommendations on sales strategies. Enable a strong growth in lead generation and sales conversion by identifying prospective clients, cultivating relationships, executing sales proposals and acquiring new customers. Identify and understand client needs and use in-depth knowledge of Hygreen Energy’s electrolyzer technologies and products and customers’ needs to propose appropriate solutions that generate value for the clients. Manage complex sales cycle within new clients by mapping each customer’s decision-making and approval processes, facilitating and compressing timelines, negotiating contracts, and closing business. Lead the advancement of any and all aspects of the technical, financial and legal sales processes to close the deal. Deliver outstanding presentations to prospective clients. Expand Hygreen Energy’s presence within your territory by developing and maintaining relationships with key client stakeholders, industry influencers, etc. Formulate and customize value propositions that ensure award-winning proposals from project developers and EPCs. Facilitate the transition from close of sale to the project fulfillment team. Effectively organize prospective leads and sales data into the company’s CRM for effective management and conduct analysis and reporting of the region’s sales progress. Attend relevant industry events and deliver presentations to represent the company and broaden its business prospects within the region. Build peer support and strong internal-company relationships to properly communicate and advocate the region’s sales needs, market trends, and advance regional sales. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related Hydrogen, Oil & Gas or Renewable Energy industry experience is an asset 8+ years of experience in sales Strong sales and communications skills Ability and willingness to travel within your territory Ability and willingness to be hands-on, proactive and win Experience using CRM and other sales management tools Seniority level:
