Sustainable Living Builders is expanding its service offerings to include HVAC solutions, focusing on energy-efficient heat pump air conditioning and heating systems. We are seeking an experienced HVAC Sales Manager to lead this initiative and help establish our HVAC department. This is a unique opportunity to build a new business line within our established company, specializing in whole-home electrification and sustainable living solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Department Launch and Leadership: Lead the creation and development of our HVAC department, including establishing operational processes and protocols.

Sales and Training: Must have 5+ years of experience in HVAC sales. Use your expertise to train our existing sales team in offering HVAC services, mentoring and supporting them to ensure successful client engagements.

Equipment Procurement and Pricing: Oversee the selection and procurement of HVAC equipment, establish pricing strategies, and ensure we offer the best solutions to our clients.

Client Solutions: Work closely with clients to assess their needs and recommend the most suitable HVAC systems, ensuring energy efficiency and satisfaction.

Sub-Contractor Management: Identify, vet, and manage subcontractors for HVAC installations, with the goal of building an in-house installation team as the business grows.

Distributor Relations: Negotiate pricing and partnerships with HVAC equipment distributors, selecting the brands and products that align with our quality and sustainability standards.

Troubleshooting and Expertise: Serve as the subject matter expert for all HVAC-related inquiries, including installation and troubleshooting.

Qualifications:

Must have 5+ years of experience in HVAC sales and operations.

Deep understanding of HVAC systems, sales processes, installation, and troubleshooting.

Proven track record of training and leading sales teams.

Strong negotiation skills and experience working with distributors and suppliers.

Ability to work independently and take initiative in developing a new business unit.

Excellent communication and organizational skills.
