The product team is responsible for driving delivery of critical roadmap capabilities. Product Manager IIs lead the delivery of the roadmap, manage the product backlog, and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders. The PM II takes strategic direction from product management and leads in the design and delivery of functional, technology enabled solutions. This role will be specific for the Data Platform team who is building a comprehensive solution designed to help organizations effectively manage, store, process and analyze R1 data.ResponsibilitiesDrive development of new features by interpreting business needs, composing user stories and acceptance criteria in an agile environment.Interface with engineering team to articulate requirements, product vision and business priorities.Own maintenance backlog, including prioritization, and work closely with engineering leads to feed the teams a constant pipeline of high-value work for each sprint.Work with stakeholders to guide the release of new features and the successful integration and/or migration of current operations onto those products.Ensure product quality by performing thorough user acceptance testing.Quickly identify blockers, developing a mitigation strategy or escalating to leadership where needed.Prioritize features and stories by balancing stakeholder interests, user needs, technology direction, and product strategy.Make tough trade-off decisions between scope and schedule, while maintaining focus on outcomes.Communicate with stakeholders, end users and developers on feature requests, bugs, development priorities, and deployment timelines.Competencies for SuccessThrives on challenges, is teachable, and loves learning.Is self-driven, diligent, and exhibits an aptitude for solving problems.Passionate about keeping current on the latest product innovations and how to practically apply them.Thrives in a collaborative environment and is comfortable working with others and giving and receiving feedback.Required QualificationsIdeally 2+ years’ experience in product management.Mastery of Agile fundamentals with demonstrated experience to drive execution within an Agile environment.Exposure to high-level technology paradigms (e.g. data flows, APIs, services).Experience interfacing directly with technology leaders and engineers.Preferred QualificationsHealthcare experience a plus, specifically in Healthcare Revenue Cycle and/or Revenue Integrity Applications.Experience using Azure DevOps or Jira.Experience in data management.
