Job Summary:
The Youth Sports Coordinator is responsible for delivering a great sports experience for kids and parents on game days. From coaching and high-fives to equipment setup, organizing, refereeing, and game management, you'll have a blast teaching kids the fundamentals of sport!
Responsibilities:
Assist parent volunteer coaches in leading practice sessions with kids ages 3-14, focusing on fundamentals and skill development across multiple sports.
Facilitate and referee games - understand rules, keep score and time, focus on player improvement, be vocal, and have a coaching mindset!
Teach and demonstrate the i9 Sports Sportsmanship values.
Engage with kids and parents with a positive attitude and deliver a fantastic customer experience.
This is a Good Fit If You:
Have experience working with kids.
Are skilled at delivering positive customer service - are you high energy, positive, and upbeat?
Have knowledge and experience in one or more of the following sports: soccer, flag football, baseball, volleyball, or basketball.
Able to work weekends in Novato.
What this Job Will Provide You (Besides Pay):
Experience working in a fast-paced environment. This job will not be boring!
Teach you how to communicate with many different types of people - kids, parents, coaches, etc.
