You will be part of a talented team of engineers that demonstrate superb technical competence and deliver mission critical infrastructure.Role & Responsibilities
As an L2/L3 Software Development Engineer at Versa Networks, you will work on developing and testing the latest networking products and technologies. We expect you to have hands-on experience in software development methodologies and usage of tools.Work with engineering teams to develop and debug new featuresWrite/maintain design and architecture documentsImprove performance, scalability, and features of the productHelp improve product quality and performance through regular technical feedbackQualifications
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field and 5 – 10 years of hands-on experience in switching/routing/security companies.Candidate MUST have strong hands-on experience in C/Linux and debugging skillsPrior knowledge in any of Switching/Routing/L2-L7 services is a must.Prior working knowledge in DHCP/SIP/IPSec is highly desirablePrior working knowledge in L2/L3 control plane is a plusLocation: Santa Clara, CA*Applicants must be authorized to work in the USThe pay range for this position at commencement of employment in Bay Area, California, is expected in the range below.$180,000 - $240,000Our Benefits
