We need a Database Administrator II for the Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Pacific. NIWC Pacific provides advanced technology and integrated solutions to support the mission of the U.S. Navy and other Department of Defense entities. Your role as a Database Administrator II for the NIWC Pacific will be to maintain and optimize databases to ensure data integrity, security, and accessibility. This is a full-time opportunity. Install, configure, and maintain databases.Monitor database performance and optimize as necessary.Ensure data security and integrity.Troubleshoot and resolve database issues.Document database configurations and procedures.REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
5 years of professional experience in database administration.Proficiency in database installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.REQUIRED EDUCATION / CERTIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in database administration or a related field.DESIRED EDUCATION / CERTIFICATIONS
Currently hold a DoD CSWF IAT Level 1 certification OR all of the below baseline certifications:
A+ CECCNA-SecurityCNDNetwork+ CESSCP
OR;
Currently hold a DoD CSWF IAT Level 2 certification OR all of the below baseline certifications:
CCNA-SecurityCySA+GICSPGSECSecurity+ CECNDSSCP
