Software Engineer

for a

Direct-Hire

job opportunity, joining our DoD client, NAVAIR, located in Lexington Park, MD. This position

will begin 3 days per week onsite but will offer remote flexibility.

The

Software Engineer

will be responsible for crafting advanced software for a cutting-edge synthetic training environment. Your work will be seamlessly integrated into flight simulators, enhancing pilot training by simulating potential threats.MUST HAVE ACTIVE SECRET SECURITY CLEARANCEResponsibilities for the Software Engineer:

Develop software for an advanced synthetic training environment.Integrate software into flight simulators for threat-based pilot training.Support development, integration, customer training, and demonstrations.Collaborate with SMEs on EWIRDB data for waveform analysis and modeling.Participate in software testing, including procedure creation and test plan development.Work with the team to design and implement future software enhancements.Qualifications for the Software Engineer:

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in software development with EW systems.Minimum of 4 years’ experience with C++, Python, Lua, or similar languages.Experience with Electronic Warfare Integrated Reprogramming Database (EWIRDB).Basic radar modeling experience.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.Strong understanding of programming algorithms, design patterns, and object-oriented design.Compensation of the Software Engineer:

Salary Range:

$105,000 - $135,000
