A bid-build project with the Army Core of Engineers (USACE) for the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency’s new campus in St. Louis. Scope includes two new access control points consisting of active and passive vehicle barriers, a masonry gatehouse, prefabricated inspection canopies, civil utilities, and paving work.Compensation:

$120,000 - $130,000 yearlyResponsibilities:

Perform safety and occupational health management, surveillance, inspections, site safety orientation, activity-specific training, and enforcementPerform safety meetingsAttend the pre-construction conference and pre-work meetings including three-phase inspection meetingsDevelop and review preconstruction safety submittalsReview safety submittals for complianceImplement and enforce accepted Accident Prevention PlansReview, develop, and enforce subcontractor activity-specific Activity Hazard Analysis (AHA)Monitor and manage sub-contractor safety and health complianceVerify safety qualificationsConduct continuous safety and health inspections, maintain a written log including date of inspection, area/operation inspected, identified hazards, recommended corrective actions, estimated and actual dates of correctionsConduct mishap investigations and complete required reportsMaintain a safety and health deficiency tracking system monitoring outstanding deficiencies until resolutionAttach safety inspection logs to the Contractors' daily quality control report in RMS and ProcoreMaintain the OSHA Form 300 and Daily Production reports for prime and sub-contractorsMaintain safety reference material on the job siteMaintain a list of hazardous chemicals on-site and their material safety data sheetsReview and submit subcontractor submittalsManage the submittal process with the clientMaintain and update RMS and Procore for applicable project documentationPerform the USACE QA three-phase inspection processDevelop, submit, and manage both government and DOR RFIsPerform daily and routine quality control inspectionsDocument, communicate, and track any deficiencies to completionGather and submit all required project closeout informationQualifications:

Experience managing USACE (United States Army Core of Engineers) ProjectsGround-up construction experienceA minimum of 10 years of quality and safety work of a progressive natureOSHA 30hrExperience with ProcoreExperience with RMSProficient in Word, Excel, and Adobe (PDF)As a condition of employment, you may be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening and have acceptable references and background check resultsPhysical Requirements:

This position requires the ability to maneuver around work sites, see, hear, and verbally communicate with co-workers and clients. Essential and marginal functions may require maintaining the physical condition necessary for bending, stooping, sitting, walking, or standing for prolonged periods of time; frequent opportunity to move about and to work outside the office environment for extended periods involving exposure to the elements with weather that will include extreme heat, cold, wind, rain or other inclement weather, walking over rough and uneven surfaces, and routine lifting of up to 35 pounds. If required, must properly use personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times including but not limited to; hard hats, steel-toed boots, eye protection, respiratory protection, and hearing protection. Job is performed in a combination of office and outdoor site locations. The office setting includes exposure to computer screens and requires extensive use of a computer, keyboard, and mouse. Outdoor settings include walking, driving, and carrying supplies throughout all seasons with exposure to heat and cold conditions, and potentially wildlife.
