OverviewJoin our team in a hands-on, outdoor-focused, and technical position to support race competitions hosted at the resort. The Race Lead Supervisor is responsible for the setup and breakdown of race competitions and is a key contributor to the success of all race events held at Loon. Proficiency in race competition standards, best practices and risk management are essential to this role. Open communication between departments and third-party organizers is key to being successful in this position.ResponsibilitiesGENERAL ACCOUNTABILITIESMaintains and enhances a guest focused culture in all areas of responsibility.Effective communication skills with all levels of employees, guests and all other outside contacts.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Other duties may be assigned.Setup and tear down of race competitions.Manage logistics through coordination with resort departments and third-party organizations.Provide excellent service to guests and fellow team members. Be friendly and open for questions around guests and fellow team members.Assist Event Manager and other resort staff to facilitate other events as needed.Be on-snow for race competitions to ensure proper resort and competition protocols are upheld.Be knowledgeable of resort policies and protocols, including but not limited to: uphill access, on-hill equipment, liability release.RESPONSIBILITIES TO SAFETY:Protect the safety of self, co-workers, and guests of Loon Mountain Resort.Report any potentially harmful equipment or situations to the immediate supervisor without delay.Report safety-related accidents and incidents at once to immediate supervisor.Follow all company and department safety policies and procedures.Operate equipment in a safe manner that will not lead to injury of yourself or others.Drive in accordance with the law and Loon Mountain Resort policies.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESCoordinate with the resort departments and third-party organizers to ensure race competitions are executed in a professional manner.QualificationsQUALIFICATIONS
