The Hub Specialist leads company initiatives and ensures maximum productivity in a safe environment, drives sales, and remains compliant with company procedures in accordance to AutoZone’s expectation. Hub Specialist assists the Hub Coordinator in the completion of Hub market activities.Key ResponsibilitiesAssumes responsibility of Hub activities in the Hub Coordinator’s absenceDirects staffing concerns to Hub Store Manager (SM) and Hub CoordinatorCommunicates AutoZoner attendance/performance concerns in a timely, confidential mannerAssists in training Hub AutoZoners in Hub practices and policiesMaintains a safe working environment while ensuring AutoZoners are implementing those practices including PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)Reviews condition of hard parts and feeder area and ensure there are no safety concernsProcesses and verifies that orders are accurate and delivered per Hub policyProcesses and ensures returns from stores during route deliveries are restocked appropriately in a timely mannerUtilizes ZNET to help customers locate merchandise or find suitable alternativesEnsure hard parts and HUB staging areas have a neat appearance with no safety concernsMaintains Hub appearance and merchandising standardsEnsure all aspects of Hub operations are maintained for peak efficiencyMaintain a Fill Rate Goal of 98.0%.Completes and fully processes all orders including: staging, properly securing totes with all documentation, and reviewing exceptions for items that were considered zero or short pulledReviews exceptions for items that were zero or short pulledSpot check system generated feeder orders for quality assuranceEnsures all company policies, procedures and loss prevention are followedAdheres to AutoZone dress codeAssists with ensuring drivers maintain approved driver statusAbility to work all the hours (of operation) that we are open for businessAbility to meet physical job requirements as listed on Essential Job Functions with or without a reasonable accommodationPerforms other related duties as requiredSupervisory ResponsibilitiesAlthough there are no direct reports for this position, Hub Specialist will, at times, direct the activities performed by the Order Pullers and Hub Drivers.Education and/or ExperienceRequired :High School diploma or equivalentSkills and AbilitiesBasic knowledge of automotive parts is requiredExcellent communication and decision making skillsAbility to lift, load, and deliver merchandiseAbility to work a flexible schedule to meet the business needs, including holidays, evenings and weekend shiftsCore CompetenciesPuts Customers FirstProvides WOW!
