Merchandising Manager

24 Seven is partnering with one of their top apparel and footwear manufacturer companies based in Portland, OR to help them find a Merchandising Manager to join their team in this hybrid role. This is a full-time, direct hire, salaried position with excellent benefits.

Ideal Candidate: will have 5 years of merchandising experience or a combination of merchandising and product creation experience, have assortment planning experience with strong retail expertise specifically in footwear, apparel and/or equipment merchandising.

Role:

The Merchandise Manager assists in seasonal planning for global merchandising

Key Accountabilities:

• Work closely with consumer, marketing, and merchandising teams to improve and optimize distribution strategies, store assortment, footwear alignment, and key merchandising narratives, making sure they align with the broader merchandising and marketplace goals.• Develop and oversee product journeys, assess past merchandising performance, and manage pricing strategies.• Provide localized pricing insights and implement necessary adjustments.• Share and promote membership strategies.• Communicate updates and changes regarding in-geo distribution strategies.• Enhance color coordination across products.• Influence and guide investment priorities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree preferred

• At least 5-years' experience in merchandising, product creation, and or retail, in a vertical or wholesale environment

• Footwear, apparel and/or equipment merchandising experience

• Proficiency in retail and profit-based metrics
