Job Title: Multi-Family Truss Sales Representative
A leading provider of engineered wood products, specializing in multi-family and commercial trusses is looking for a proven Truss Sales Executive. Position Overview:
The Multi-Family Truss Sales Representative will be responsible for generating sales and managing client relationships within the multi-family residential sector. This role requires a proactive individual with a deep understanding of truss systems and a strong ability to navigate the construction and architectural landscapes.
Key Responsibilities:Sales and Business Development:Develop and execute a sales strategy to achieve targets in the multi-family construction market.Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including networking with architects, builders, developers, and contractors.Conduct market research to understand trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
Client Relationship Management:Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.Provide expert guidance on truss products, specifications, and applications.Address and resolve customer inquiries, concerns, and issues in a timely manner.
Product Expertise:Stay informed about the latest advancements in truss technology and construction practices.Offer technical support and product knowledge to clients and internal teams.Assist in the preparation of detailed proposals and presentations.
Project Coordination:Collaborate with project managers and engineering teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery of products.Oversee the preparation of quotations, orders, and contracts.Track project progress and provide updates to clients.
Qualifications:Experience:
Minimum of 5-10 years of sales experience in the construction industry, with a focus on trusses or structural components.Proven
ability to deliver high volume sales in the multi-family truss sector.Skills:
Strong understanding of truss systems and their applications, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to build rapport with clients.Technical Proficiency:
Familiarity with CAD software and other design tools is a plus.Personal Traits:
