The ideal candidate for this position will have the skills and experience necessary to:
Spend 50%-70% of their time focusing on generating, discovering, and developing new client acquisition through outside sales opportunities.
Deepen and expand existing customer relationships.
Involve business partners to generate, retain, and expand lending, investment, treasury, and deposit relationships.
Co-manage with designated portfolio manager to increase client profitability
Maintain a high level of client satisfaction
Solid understanding or experience with personal and business financials
Know and understand bank lending products, policies, and procedures
Ability to produce and manage both business and consumer credit requests. *Client base may include commercial, private, consumer and business banking customers.
Be familiar with and comply with applicable company policies and all banking regulations including, but not limited to BSA, USA Patriot/CIP requirements, AML, and other regulations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Considerable knowledge of credit associated lending, loan structuring, financial strategy, and customer development.
A combination of education and experience may meet requirements.
Strong sales and networking acumen.
Ability to work effectively with designated Portfolio Manager, other individuals, and groups across the company to manage customer relationships
Working knowledge of applicable lending policies, procedures, laws, and regulations.
Knowledge of software applications, including word processing and spreadsheets.
