What you will doAs the Data Scientist at Amgen, you will be responsible for developing and deploying advanced machine learning, operational research, semantic analysis, and statistical methods to uncover structure in large data sets. This role involves creating analytics solutions to address customer needs and opportunities.Develop analytics to address customer needs and opportunities.Work alongside software developers and software engineers to translate algorithms into commercially viable products and services.Work in technical teams in development, deployment, and application of applied analytics, predictive analytics, and prescriptive analytics.Perform exploratory and targeted data analyses using descriptive statistics and other methods.Model/analytics experiment and development pipeline leveraging MLOps.Work with data engineers on data quality assessment, data cleansing and data analytics.Generate reports, annotated code, and other project artifacts to document, archive, and communicate your work and outcomes.Share and discuss findings with team members practicing SAFe Agile delivery model.Win

What we expect of youBasic Qualifications:

Master’s degree and 1 to 3 years of experience with one or more analytic software tools or languages (e.g., SAS, SPSS, R, Python) ORBachelor’s degree and 3 to 5 years of experience with one or more analytic software tools or languages (e.g., SAS, SPSS, R, Python) ORDiploma and 7 to 9 years of experience with one or more analytic software tools or languages (e.g., SAS, SPSS, R, Python)Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with one or more analytic software tools or languages (e.g., SAS, SPSS, R, Python)Demonstrated skill in the use of applied analytics, descriptive statistics, feature extraction and predictive analytics on industrial datasetsStrong foundation in machine learning algorithms and techniquesExperience in statistical techniques and hypothesis testing, experience with regression analysis, clustering and classificationGood-to-Have Skills:

Proficiency in Python and relevant ML libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn)Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills; Ability to learn quickly; Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsExperience with data engineering and pipeline developmentExperience in analyzing time-series data for forecasting and trend analysisExperience with AWS, Azure, or Google CloudExperience with Databricks platform for data analytics and MLOpsProfessional Certifications :

Any Python and ML certification (preferred)Any SAFe Agile certification (preferred)Soft Skills:
