Oversee safety assessments and audits as well as resolution and follow-up of corrective actions identified during assessmentsManage hazard identification, analysis, and control programsParticipate at initiation phase of equipment installation and setup to assist in design for safety, health, ergonomic and environmental principlesDevelop and lead the implementation of safety, health, and environmental policies and proceduresSet standards to which others will be held responsible and accountableMaintain procedures to keep currentDevelop training materials to support safety and health programsPromote employee awareness of health and safety through training and continual facility-wide communicationDevelop and implement proactive environment, health, and safety programsDevelop, implement, and maintain health & safety Performance Measurement Programs (i.e. audits, metrics) while tracking and reporting progressCreate and facilitate H&S teams and/or committees as needed to meet safety objectivesProvide expert technical assistance to the department and to the business unitsBuild effective relationships with site EHS Manager and regional team to ensure consistency of systemsEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations pertaining to health and environmental safety standardsDevelop and manage accident and injury investigation programThe experience we're looking for

Bachelor's degree (field related to Environmental Safety is a plus)5-8 years experience as an environmental/safety professional or similar backgroundEngineering experience is a plusWhat we offer

USD $91,000 - $137,000US pay transparency

The base salary range for this role will vary based on experience in job and industry, training and education, skills relevant to the position, and other factors permitted by law. In addition to the base salary, the position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, which is subject to change each year.Equality
