BENEFITS ANALYSTRESPONSIBILITIES:Assist with design, implementation, and day-to-day administration of benefit programs, including health & welfare benefit plans, 401(k) plan, and other employee servicesSupport annual benefits open enrollment planning and execution. Help develop effective communication strategy to educate and reach diverse employee populationAdvise and counsel employees and dependents on day-to-day benefit-related questions (via email, phone, walk-ups, and drop-in sessions)Partner with finance, payroll, HRIS, legal, and vendors to effectively and efficiently perform all aspects of benefit program management, including ensuring accuracy of benefit deductions and streamlining current processes and procedures to ensure proper data flow to relevant partiesAssist with provider premium billing statements and resolve any discrepanciesKeep abreast of policies, legislative changes, and legal requirements, such as ERISA, HIPAA, and the Affordable Care Act to assist with plan compliance efforts.Other duties and responsibilities as assigned, including but not limited to:Company wellness initiatives and employee servicesCommuter program support

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's degree5+ years of human resources experience in a generalist or benefits administration

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:Benefits or human resources certification and affiliations (CEBS, PHR, etc.)Ability to use independent judgment and prioritize workDemonstrated excellence thriving in a fast-paced environmentEffective verbal, written, and presentation communication skillsDemonstrate proficiency with MS Office, especially ExcelAttention to detail and commitment to qualityHighly collaborative style and strong team orientationHighly organized with ability to manage multiple high-priorities in a fast-paced, loosely structured environmentBilingual in Spanish and English

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:This is not a remote or hybrid position and will require relocation if not already local to the Brownsville, TX areaPosition occasionally requires the ability to work extended hours or weekends when neededAbility to travel to other SpaceX offices as needed

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:Pay range:Sr. Benefits Analyst: $110,000.00 - $145,000.00/per yearYour actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.Base salary is just one part of your total rewards package at SpaceX. You may also be eligible for long-term incentives, in the form of company stock, stock options, or long-term cash awards, as well as potential discretionary bonuses and the ability to purchase additional stock at a discount through an Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
