Project PlanningResponsible for developing conceptual scopes by collaborating with facility staff, engineering and other cross functional departments, and external resources.Ensure that project scopes fulfill relevant regulatory requirements including compliance with RB/MJN quality requirements, Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, state and federal environmental health and safety (EHS) requirements, and RB/MJN engineering guidelines.Prepare project budgets and cash flow projections.Create project implementation timelines in the form of milestone and detailed project schedules.Prepare capital appropriation requests and route to obtain management approval.Project Execution and ControlManage multiple capital projects of different scales by leading cross-functional teams of internal and external resources to generate project documentation including: drawing packages, equipment specifications, user requirement specifications, bid packages, qualification protocols, other.Responsible for the project design and development to ensure that the project delivers all project objectives on time, and within the approved capital budget.Schedule and conduct regular meetings with project teams to communicate project status and plan activities for project completion. Provide updates to key stakeholders regarding project’s progress, risks, and issue resolution.Responsible for contractors, building construction, and field installation including ensuring equipment and workmanship meet or exceed corporate standards and project requirements and integrity of operations is not compromised through to start-up, and commissioning.Responsible for Factory Acceptance Tests or Pre-Delivery Inspections at supplier’s site as required. Oversee and coordinate equipment start-up, commissioning, and training.Uphold Health and Safety standards and conditions of staff and external resources to ensure operations integrity.The experience we're looking for
Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical).7-10+ years relevant engineering experience in an infant formula, food and beverage, or pharmaceutical manufacturing environment (must include 3-5+ years of capital project management).Capable of managing multiple capital projects simultaneously with a variety of technical scopes (powder blending and transport, HVAC, liquid processing, packaging, other).PMP Certification (preferred but not required).Proven track record of leadership and team management with demonstrated ability to manage resources and external contractors to deliver capital projects.Comprehensive understanding of engineering, manufacturing, project management principles and practices. Strong mechanical aptitude.Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, capable of positively influencing and collaborating at all organizational levels.The skills for success
