Agility Partners is seeking a qualified Privacy and Data Security Attorney to fill an open position with a leading grocer in the Cincinnati area. This role offers the opportunity to provide legal review, guidance, and support on privacy, data protection, and security matters across the organization. You will partner cross-functionally with various business units to advise on data uses and privacy strategies while managing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.Key Responsibilities:Draft, review, and negotiate data protection addendums and other data-related agreements.Negotiate complex commercial transactions involving consumer data.Provide pragmatic privacy and data security expertise and advise on compliance with laws and regulations.Partner with the Privacy Office to support and enhance the existing privacy program.Benefits and Perks

Qualifications:6+ years of combined experience in law firms, governmental agencies, and/or in-house legal departments.4+ years of experience providing advice on legal risks and obligations under U.S. privacy and data security laws.Juris Doctor from an accredited U.S. law school.Admission to at least one state bar.Exceptional contract drafting and written communication skills.Experience with retail media and advertising preferred.Knowledge of data privacy and security laws and regulations.Ability to translate legal advice into actionable guidance for various teams.Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and communication skills.Demonstrates strong ethical compass and problem-solving skills.Ability to build and manage relationships with key stakeholders.
