We're creating layers of defense that help keep us all safe and protect our freedoms.We seek an early career-level Program Planning professional who wants to be part of our mission performing as the Integrated Program Planner supporting the Next Generation Interceptor (NGI) Program. Based out of Huntsville, AL or Sunnyvale, CA, in this role you will support the execution efforts across multiple sites and other SMD programs as required. For your assigned component, you will interface with Engineering, Business Operations, and Program Management and will brief senior management as required. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing a compliant Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) which will reflect the accurate and detailed contractual scope and resources to execute the program.Summary of key duties: In this role, you will...Support development and maintenance of the program Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) including ensuring integration between the IMS and the Integrated Master Plan (IMP)Maintain schedule integration between the IMS and the Program Summary Master Schedule and supplemental schedulesPerform critical path and schedule risk analyses as requiredProvide planning support to Production Operations and Master Program Scheduler as part of monthly management rhythms. Ensure Schedule AccuracyPerform schedule integrity checks as requiredGenerate and deliver IMS reports and metrics as requiredPresent schedule-related information to internal and external customersEnsure compliance with LM Corporate Program Performance Management and Program Planning policies and practicesSupport all phases of the proposal through submittal to include SOW, CWBS, and IMP traces to tasksOur employees working in this level of position typically have 3-6 years of professional experience.Basic Qualifications:1-2 years of experience in a planning or program management related disciplineProficient with Microsoft Office applicationsExperience delivering briefings to team members and project teamsKnowledge of Schedule Performance Management techniquesMust be a United States citizen and be able to obtain a Secret security clearanceDesired Skills:Bachelor's degree3 years or more of experience in planning or program management related disciplineExposure to Network scheduling tool (MS Project, Open Plan, Primavera, etc.)Critical Path Scheduling methodologyIntegrated Master Schedule (IMS) development and maintenanceIntegrated Master Plan (IMP) knowledgeProduction / Sustainment / Depot OperationsEarned Value ManagementWork Breakdown Structure (WBS) DevelopmentProposal knowledgeAdvanced Excel skill set including macros, lookup tables, and VBAExposure to Schedule Risk Assessment process/toolsAbility to communicate utilizing different techniques and build strong relationshipsDemonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving abilitiesTo promote the sharing of ideas, Lockheed Martin fosters an inclusive work environment that encourages differences and big-picture thinking. Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five-day work week while others may be condensed. The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Washington or Washington DC is $61,300 - $117,500. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
