Position Overview:
This position is responsible for the strategic and operational leadership of all BT infrastructure including transformation strategy, operational planning and the effective and efficient delivery of all BT infrastructure services and solutions used to support business processes and services across the organization. Provides value-based and inspirational leadership to the BT Operations Team by setting goals and direction aligned with the organization and directs the team in achieving those goals. This position offers ahybrid work option up to 50% remote, and is open to any Compeer office location in Illinois, Minnesota and Wisconsin .

Essential Functions:
  • Leads the development and execution of the infrastructure transformation strategy, including cloud transition strategy, user-experience & service delivery strategy, technical roadmap and change leadership approach; ensures the strategy aligns and integrates with the overall BT and enterprise strategic plans.
  • Designs, directs, manages and oversees infrastructure services by establishing and implementing short and long-term strategies to accomplish the goals and objectives to deliver in-scope BT services to the Compeer organization within budget, schedule, and quality objectives.
  • Maintains currency on new technologies and platforms, including artificial intelligence, Edge computing, Cloud and other emerging technologies and provides direction on what emerging technologies should be assimilated, integrated and introduced to infrastructure in a way that enhance the teams value
  • Creates and promotes a positive culture and work environment that leverages the talents and abilities of team members in achieving the goals for the Infrastructure and Delivery team.
  • Ensures that all infrastructure and networks operate according to identified standards, regulatory and legal requirements.
  • Develops and controls the annual operating expenditure and capital expenditure budgets for infrastructure to ensure that it is consistent with the overall strategic objectives of BT and the organization.

Minimum Qualifications & Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job.
  • Must be authorized to work for any employer in the US. Compeer is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa at this time.
  • Minimum of 10 years of information technology experience.
  • Minimum of 7 years of leadership and management experience preferred.
  • Exceptional people leadership and talent development skills including the ability to select, evaluate, engage, motivate, mentor, train, delegate, reward and lead team members.
  • High learning agility with demonstrated ability to apply past experiences and learnings successfully in new situations.
  • Demonstrated ability leverage values-based leadership to shape and influence culture; able to lead in a hybrid work environment.
  • Proven experience leading technology transformation and change initiatives.
  • Proven ability to develop high-impact technology strategy.
  • High degree of curiosity across leadership and technology disciplines.
  • Strong listening, written and verbal communication skills, with ability to communicate at all levels of the organization.
  • Skill in developing and maintaining interpersonal relationships.
  • Strong problem solving, decision making and organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing situations.
  • Solid knowledge of agile solution delivery principles.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with other teams to achieve goals and represent the business.
  • Demonstrated success in implementation of large, complex programs.
  • Strong strategic thinker, able to deliver tactical deliverables.
  • Solid project management skills.
  • Valid driver's license.
