Requirements:
- Florida Bar License: The candidate must possess a license in good standing to practice law in the state of Florida.
- Case Management: Ability to manage a large efficiently and active caseload from filing through verdict.
- Self-Starter: Must be a self-starter and goal-oriented with a focus on long-term career goals.
- Client-Focused Practice: Pride in maintaining a client-focused practice.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively manage relationships with various stakeholders, including investigators, expert witnesses, opposing counsel, and clients.
- Discovery Skills: Ability to assemble and organize information gathered during discovery for presentation at trial.
- Courtroom Presence: A strong courtroom presence and eagerness to try cases.
- Technical Proficiency: Competent and proficient in the use of Word, Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Legal Drafting: Draft and review substantive pleadings and motions.
- Litigation Skills: Respond to motions and discovery; attend hearings, depositions, mediations, and meetings with clients.
