Overview
T. Rowe Price Associates Inc. seeks a Sr. Infrastructure Engineer in Owings Mills, MD, responsible to:
- Support AWS cloud infrastructure, provide technical leadership, software support, and technical guidance in support of business-critical systems.
- Assist in implementing and support of services, security, and architectures to provide business solutions.
- Engage on operational activities to ensure the availability and performance of database services, technical problem resolution, and service upgrades.
- Build capabilities and functions that enable the adoption of enterprise platforms.
- Drive strategy involving implementing standard methodologies in areas of automation, database management, monitoring/tuning, and supporting cloud solutions.
Requirements
- The position requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field plus 5+ years of progressive experience in systems design, programming, implementation, and integration.
- Requires 5+ years of experience building modern applications using one or more Python, Terraform, Vault, RDBMS Systems (Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server, MySQL, Postgres).
- Requires 5+ years' experience with AWS services like RDS/S3/EC2/Lambda/VPC, EC2, Security Groups, IAM, ECS, CloudWatch/Linux, and Splunk.
