The Vice President of Human Resources (VP of HR) will oversee all human resources functions for our corporate hospitality division. This position requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in human resource management and the ability to align organizational goals with talent management strategies. The ideal candidate will foster a culture of excellence, promote employee engagement, and ensure that our workforce is equipped to deliver exceptional service in the hospitality industry.

- Serve as a strategic partner to the executive team, providing insights and recommendations on HR-related issues.
- Lead talent acquisition and workforce planning initiatives to attract and retain top talent in the hospitality industry.
- Oversee employee development programs, including training, performance management, and succession planning.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations and manage risk to the organization regarding HR practices.
- Manage compensation and benefits programs to ensure competitiveness and alignment with industry standards.
- Promote a diverse and inclusive workplace, fostering an environment where all employees feel valued and engaged.
- Resolve complex employee relations issues and ensure consistent HR practices across all sites.
- Develop and implement HR metrics and analytics to measure the effectiveness of HR programs and initiatives.
- Lead change management efforts and support organizational development as needed.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field; or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role, preferably in the hospitality or service industry.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws, regulations, and best practices in human resource management.
- Proven ability to develop HR strategies that align with business objectives.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Experience in managing large-scale HR projects and initiatives.
