Location: Bay Area (SF and Marin), Hybrid (must accommodate Pacific Time Zone)

This is a one-of-a-kind role for an investment professional to join a venture firm that exists to wholeheartedly support courageous teams in devotion to:

The firm is led by 4 partners, each experienced investors, entrepreneurs, and operators. Over their careers they have founded 6 technology companies, run 2 public companies, and scaled businesses in technology and healthcare. They also each founded investment firms, 5 collectively: 3 venture funds, 1 private equity fund, and 1 hedge fund all with strong track records and significant AUM. They've been close colleagues and friends for a long time, and have over two decades of collaboration with one another in various combinations.

Each partner has been on a long inner journey, seeking deeper meaning and asking more nuanced and fundamental questions. They are listening to the futures their minds, hearts and guts are dreaming into.

They believe change in the outer world starts with change in the inner world, and their inner work is guided by decades of successful entrepreneurial/investing experience and personal transformation journeys of their minds and hearts.

They are seeking an entrepreneurial Senior Associate or Vice President to join them as a key member of the investment team.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Collaborating closely with the Partners in collaborations with potential investors and limited partners including preparing financial models, crafting teasers and marketing materials, writing investment memos, completing due diligence, reviewing legal documents, and negotiating contracts
  • Research and evaluate new investment and fundraising opportunities
  • Support in researching and evaluating strategic direction for the organization
  • Organizing and managing the fund's operations and finance contractors
  • Ad hoc entrepreneurial tasks to support the high leverage activities of the organization

KEY QUALIFICATIONS

The Senior Associate/VP should possess the following professional qualifications and personal attributes:
  • At least 2-4 years of professional and relevant experience, preferably venture capital, growth equity, private equity, investment banking, and/or management consulting
  • A background in sophisticated financial modeling
  • Research, underwriting and monitoring existing investments
  • Taking the time to triple check work product, reflect on what's going on right now, and consistently reflect upon how you show up for yourself and at work
  • Strong attention to detail is one of your strengths (and your friends tell you that)
  • Motivated, self-starter that seeks out new problem solving opportunities
  • Supporting the hosting of sophisticated, curated, and intentional events
  • High emotional intelligence and service orientation
  • Highly organized with strong ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
