What you will do:
As part of the PGIM Human Resources Team you will have the opportunity to work with colleagues from around the world and gain exposure to HR projects and practices across different geographies. Reporting to the VP Compensation and Benefits, in this Compensation Consultant role you will envision and create innovative solutions in support of PGIM's dynamic business strategy, as well as develop and evolve our global compensation practices. You will work with a broader compensation team, but have a particular focus on developing our global approach to pay transparency, building and embedding governance structures, and supporting the design and development of new compensation programs. If you are a collaborative, inquisitive and analytical professional looking for a dynamic in-house consulting position this may be the role for you.

What You Can Expect:
  • Develop approaches to the design, maintenance and governance of job architecture and market data structures across the business, working with compensation business partners and HR operations to embed these approaches in HR work practices.
  • Design solutions that meet global pay transparency requirements, working as a consultant to implement new processes across multiple HR functions.
  • Consult on the evolving global compensation regulations and develop solutions to address these challenges.
  • Support in the design and development of new compensation programs which may cover short term cash plans, long-term incentive plans, carried interest and co-investment structures. Work with the compensation team and business stakeholders in modelling the plans, developing communications strategies and implementing the end solutions.
  • This role will require limited international travel and flexibility to cover global time-zones.


What You Will Bring:
  • 7+ years in Human Resources compensation in the financial services and/or insurance industry
  • Desire to learn new skills and work in a flexible and dynamic role
  • Excellent relationship-building, partnering influencing, interpersonal and collaborative skills
  • Strong analytical skills; the ability to tell a story and derive insight from analysis to impact business decisions
  • Technological proficiency in Microsoft Excel (XLOOKUP, SUMIFs, Nesting, Power Pivot Tables, Charts)
  • Experience of working with AON/McLagan benchmarking data.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail, balanced with the ability to see the big picture while executing on multiple projects with varied deadlines

Note: Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $130,000 to $170,000. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills. Roles may also be eligible for additional compensation and/or benefits. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
