Summary:
FET is seeking an experienced BI Developer to create and manage their Reporting and Analytics. Collaborating with other team members, you’ll be responsible for extracting, transforming, and loading data into Power BI or SSRS reports. Our ideal candidate is highly skilled in information technology and equipped with great problem-solving and leadership abilities. Fluency in multiple programming languages is a must, along with significant knowledge of subjects such as database design, T-SQL, Data warehouse, business intelligence, and enterprise service bus architecture.
Job Duties/Responsibilities
Robust knowledge of ETL processDesign and develop reportsDetermine and analyze all technical needs of a projectTest software/reports for quality assuranceIdentify and resolve issues in software systems / reports as neededDocument software / report functionality and componentsTrack project development processSolve technical issuesPerform quality assurance testsPresent project development and final products to higher-upsSkills/Knowledge
Current working knowledge of multiple programming languages and frameworks - including but not limited to C#, .NET, and T-SQLDatabase design skillsFirm understanding of software quality assurance proceduresKnowledge of data warehouse software / ETL ProcessKnowledge of Power Platform and Power BISharp written and verbal communication skillsExcellent technical and logistical thinking skillsImpeccable organizational skillsGreat problem-solving abilitiesThorough attention to detailEducation
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field or comparable experience.Microsoft certifications are strongly preferredExperience
5+ years of relevant experience in designing IT systems.Current working knowledge of multiple programming languages and frameworks - including but not limited to C#, .NET, and T-SQLCurrent working knowledge of Microsoft PowerBI and DAX coding
