The Van Driver The Driver Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and will be responsible for operating and maintaining transportation vehicles with a focus on safety and customer courtesy; performing daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections; performing minor maintenance tasks on the vehicles when necessary; fueling the vehicles; ensuring that periodic scheduled vehicle maintenance is completed and reported; preparing accident and incident reports as necessary; assisting passengers in and out of the vehicle; and providing other services as requested by management when not engaged in transportation service. We look forward to you joining our team!Key ResponsibilitiesAnswers multi-line telephone, receives/delivers telephone messagesGreet visitorsTransport patients to dialysisSorts incoming mail and distributes throughout officeScreen visitors at the front door; take temperaturesPrepares weekly FedEx packages, schedules FedEx ground pickups and certified mail requestsOrders shipping and mailing suppliesSorts accounts payable checks, folds and inserts checks and runs through postage meterMaintains neat appearance and dresses appropriately to provide a positive image for the management officeCompletes other tasks/duties as may be assigned by the AdministratorJob RequirementsLicensed CNA with the ability to drive a multi-passenger vehicle safely and appropriately, including ability to read and interpret road signs in EnglishAbility to recognize vehicle maintenance needsAbility to perform minor vehicle repairskilled in reasoning skills to interpret policies and procedures, maps, and route directionsAbility to administer First Aid and CPR.Must be on call and open to working part timeMust be a minimum of 25 years of agePossess and maintain a safe driving record
