A hospital is seeking a gastroenterologist for locum tenens coverage. While in northern Indiana, explore the Indiana Dunes, play at the casinos, or find treasures along The Heritage Trail! The position requires board certification in Gastroenterology, with a preference for candidates holding an Indiana license or those eligible through the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC). The role involves inpatient-only coverage with a Monday to Friday schedule from 8 AM to 5 PM, along with night and weekend call responsibilities, starting from 8 AM on Monday and ending at 8 AM the following Monday. The focus is on general GI cases, with no advanced procedures, and there is 24/7 anesthesia support available.
